Saturation is an interactive art installation, exhibited at the UNSW 2023 Annual Exhibiton. Utilising a wide array of creative technologies across animation, programming and AI software, "Saturation" was made to capture the specific feelings being in awe and overwhelmed with technology. We have access to more colours, storytelling, people and information than ever before. Our attention is locked in a flurry of pixels and sounds which keep us entertained and over-stimulated. There are elements which speak to human vanity, sensory overload, the illusion of control and total immersion within a space.
Working with Kopi Su, a creative digital studio, I lead the development of the Extra Chewing gum AI lecture lounge website. This is an AI lofi music generator made to add light, adaptable music to the backgrounds of lectures to increase focus, retention and productivity for neurodiverse students.
My dear talented sister had a problem with how to value her artwork, an issue many artists have. I plotted, graphed and created a calculator that removes the guess work.
I recreated the game that I dominate at game night with my family so that my sister's boyfriend can practice without me as he lives overseas. I then went a step further and altered the game because I am a colour theory nerd.
My first creative coding project. What is consciousness? How did minds as complex as ours develop? What would those steps look like? All of these questions reimagined in an interactive narrative made for the web.
In my art practice, I have developed a unique program that generates compositions based on the Fibonacci sequence, drawing inspiration from Piet Mondrian's iconic "Composition II in Red, Blue, and Yellow." This program leverages the mathematical harmony of the Fibonacci sequence to create balanced and aesthetically pleasing artworks that mimic Mondrian's distinctive style.
